I want to thank Ms Drechsler. After the coaching I feel much calmer. The metaphors about the captain on the boat especially helped me look at my situation with some distance and even with humour. I can also take responsibility for my actions. I keep practising the mindfulness exercises — they're short and very useful. I also still carry my notebook everywhere. When a storm is coming, I can look up my values and reorient myself with my compass. Then I take the helm again with more confidence and follow the new course.

From the start I felt safe and understood, even though I was scared. Dagmar took my fear seriously and let me tell her everything in detail. She carefully investigated why I wanted to overcome the phobia, which then really motivated me to keep doing the exercises. The exercises were simple and the provocative phrases made me laugh. Later I was able to integrate them well into my daily routine. Again and again I'd find myself laughing in everyday life because of the provocations, which let me observe the fear from some distance.
Before, I couldn't remove spiders on my own — not even with the help of a stick or paper. After the first session I no longer froze or screamed, but I still had to ask for help to get rid of them. Today I can go down to the basement even when there are spiders. I can also remove them with sticks, the vacuum cleaner and, for a few weeks now, even with paper — when they're small. Removing cobwebs is no longer a problem.
Thank you so much for letting me experience much more self-efficacy and for making it so that these little creatures no longer stop me from doing what's important to me.

I'm so glad I met Dagmar. I'm grateful to my therapist for helping me connect with her. I've learned that I can take small steps and that structure helps me. I repeat my mantra every day with my fist raised and it makes me feel strong. That's how I get through each day. Of course not everything will suddenly become easy, but I can do it if I keep trying. Maybe I'll be able to work with children again in the future — that motivates me so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

When I first went to see Ms Drechsler, I was very nervous and didn't know what to think. I kept calling my daughter and couldn't let her go. I felt like I was losing her. But with the help of coaching, I recovered my energy. I'm now doing yoga again and I'll soon even go on a retreat. I hadn't had time for that in the last 22 years. Ms Drechsler understood my pain and I'm very grateful to her for that.

I thought that at 55 I had no chance of finding work. On top of that I was so embarrassed I couldn't even go to an interview. Now I can set the shame aside and have even managed to go to two interviews. I haven't landed anything yet, but I now feel my strength back and that I can do it. I'm glad I got to work with Dagmar — she helped me so much.
